Parry Plane Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 October 2026

Parry Plane is a game made by Evan Dikken, an independent developer based in the Netherlands ("I", "me"). This policy explains what information the game collects on Android and iOS, why, and what choices you have. If you have any questions, email evan.apps.nl@gmail.com.

The short version: Parry Plane has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or contacts. Your game progress stays on your device. The game uses a few Google services for anonymous usage statistics, crash reports, ads and purchases, and those services collect some technical data as described below.

1. Information stored on your device

Your game progress is saved only on your device: stars, best altitude, the planes and trails you own, missions, awards, daily rewards, statistics and settings. I can't see it and it is not sent to me. Uninstalling the game deletes it.

2. Information collected by third-party services

Usage statistics (Google Firebase Analytics)

To understand how the game is played and improve it, the game sends anonymous gameplay events, such as runs started and finished, altitude reached, zones reached, items unlocked and screens opened. It also sends the plane you have selected and how many planes you own. Firebase adds technical data: an app instance identifier, device model, operating system version, app version, language and an approximate country derived from your IP address. You can turn usage statistics off at any time in the game's Settings.

Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics)

If the game crashes or runs into an error, a crash report is sent so I can fix the problem. It contains technical details about the error, the device model, operating system and app version, and an installation identifier. Crash reports don't contain personal information about you.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The free version of the game shows ads, for example between runs or when you choose to watch an ad for a reward. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device information and how you interact with ads. Google uses this to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, and, if you allow it, to personalise ads.

If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows a consent form from Google when you first open it. There you can choose whether ads may be personalised. You can change your choice later from the game's Settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings, or limit ad tracking there.

Purchases (Google Play Billing and Apple App Store)

You can buy "Remove ads" as a one-time in-app purchase. The payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. I never receive your payment details. The game only receives confirmation that the purchase was made, so it can stop showing ads.

Google Play Games (Android)

If you're signed in to Google Play Games, the game submits your scores to leaderboards and unlocks achievements there. Google links these to your Play Games profile. Your Play Games profile and visibility settings are managed by Google.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the game can remind you when your daily reward is ready. These reminders are scheduled on your device itself. No server is involved and nothing is sent to me. You can turn them off in the game's Settings or in your device settings.

Sharing

When you use the share button, the game opens your device's own share menu. What you share and with whom is up to you. The game doesn't see who you share with.

3. How this information is used

I don't sell your information, and I don't use it for any purpose other than those above.

4. Third parties and their policies

The services above are provided by Google, and on iOS purchases also by Apple. They process data under their own privacy policies:

These services may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, with safeguards as described in their policies.

5. Data retention

Data on your device is kept until you uninstall the game. Usage statistics and crash reports are kept by Google Firebase for a limited time under Google's retention settings and are then deleted automatically. Ad data is retained under Google's policies.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, for example in the EU or UK under the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Because the game has no accounts, I usually can't link data to you. Email me and I'll help as far as I can. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Children

Parry Plane is not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, email me and I'll take appropriate steps.

8. Security

Data sent to the services above is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but I only use well-established services and collect as little as possible.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
